Head Chair

“[apologies in advance for Madrid-ful punning] There’s Norway… I’m chairing NATO! Greetings! I’m Andrew, a Y13 from WIS, and I’m super excited to be chairing alongside Yvaine at what will undoubtedly be the most Sweden (NA)TOtally awesome conference I’ve ever Benin (can’t wait to Czech out Japan-ter box). Amidst the increasing polarisation in our political discourse, MUN provides a vital platform for good-spirited discussions and debates. As such, I implore you set your minds free to Rome and to be Hungary for challenge (not letting you Bucharest) — you’re Guyana love it. I’m China find more to say but Israel hard (I’ll Polish up that arsenal — perhaps with some Greece). Oh well, I’m Finnished. See you all in March!”

Yvaine Wong

Deputy Chair

“The North Atlantic Treaty Organization also called the North Atlantic Alliance, is an intergovernmental military alliance of 32 member states… I’m just kidding (I’ll spare you guys this time). Hi yall! I’m Yvaine Wong, a Y12 from KGV and I’m so excited to be chairing NATO with Andrew. I can't wait to see the fierce debates and discussions (and the banter box submissions). Aside from MUN, you’ll probably find me already buckling under the IB pressure (with an energy drink in hand), or big-backing at hotpot places. Anyways, I can’t wait to see everyone in March! I’ll leave you all with a totally funny joke. What’s the difference between NATO and my fridge? NATO has more than just Turkey and Greece.“
